Bert is the definition of a rescue...from a dog down on his luck, scrounging for food and someone to love him, to the dog we see now: happy, healthy, and enjoying his time at the shelter with people who care. Bert is a very friendly dog who doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. He’s just a lover. He’s always up for a game or romp with his buddies and his humans. It’s a beautiful thing to see a dog who has been so neglected come alive with playful energy and affection. Bert is a sweetheart and he will be forever grateful to the lucky person who adopts him into his forever home.

The adoption fee for dogs is $100.00 and cats is $20.00. Every animal adopted from the Dubois County Humane Society has been heartworm tested (dogs), received age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, and heartwormed (dogs) and flea treated. All animals have been spayed/neutered.
